FULL-TIME OR RESERVE FIREFIGHTER/EMT OR CEP
Greer Fire District is currently accepting applications for the position of a full-time Firefighter / EMT or CEP. The primary responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to providing emergency medical care and firefighting suppression skills to the community we serve.
Requirements are listed below. This position is based on a 48/96 shift schedule. To be eligible for hire, applicants must be 18 years of age, be able to speak, read and write the English language, successfully pass a physical agility assessment test, a written test, and an oral board interview.
The candidate selected must be able to pass a background and fingerprint check and pre-employment drug screen.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Arizona State Certified Firefighter I & II

Arizona State Certified EMT-B or CEP

S-130/190 Basic Wildland Certification; within 9 months of hire

Wildland Engine Boss (preferred)

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
